Four people were arrested in connection with the shooting that left an FSU football player hospitalized, according to the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office.

Ethan Pritchard, an FSU linebacker from Sanford, was shot at the Havana Heights apartments in the small town that is 16 miles northwest of Tallahassee.

Pritchard was there dropping off a family member, according to officials, when he was ambushed.

Ethan Pritchard was rushed to a hospital in critical condition but stable.

Deputies said three of the four suspects are facing attempted murder charges. One suspect is a juvenile.
