HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A 19-year-old man died in a crash involving a motorcycle in Hamblen County Tuesday night, the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported.

The victim, Landon Roland, was driving a 2008 Suzuki JS1 north on I-81. Around 11:50 p.m., near mile marker 11, Roland tried to go between two other vehicles, according to THP documents.

Roland's motorcycle struck the trailer of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and became lodged for a short distance. When it became dislodged, Roland was thrown from the vehicle and died, THP said. He was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Silverado was charged with driving on a revoked license.
