HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A teen was killed in a crash Tuesday night at 11:50 p.m. in Hamblen County, according to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Landon Roland, died after being thrown from their motorcycle in crash on I-81, the report said. THP added that Roland was riding north on the interstate around mile marker 11, when he lodged his bike into a trailer being towed by another car. He then became dislodged, THP said, and crashed.
The other driver, 24-year-old Bradley Hayes Jr., is facing a charge for driving on a revoked license as well, according to the report.
