HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. — Tennessee Highway Patrol said a 19-year-old was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-81 Tuesday night.

According to a THP crash report, Landon Roland, 19, was headed north on I-81 around mile marker 11 when he tried to go between two other vehicles.

Roland hit a trailer being pulled by a Chevy Silverado and was lodged on the trailer for a short distance, the report said. When he became dislodged, THP said Roland was thrown from the motorcycle.

The driver of the Silverado, Bradley Hayes Jr., 24, is facing charges for driving on a revoked license, according to the report.
