LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Following years of testing on the Las Vegas Strip, Zoox robotaxis will now be available to the public.

Amazon’s Zoox service is the first company in history to provide a fully autonomous ride-hailing service in a “purpose-built robotaxi,” according to a news release.

The service is centered around a mobile app that you use to order rides. The autonomous vehicle will show up to a designated Zoox location and then take you to your destination.

Riders can select from several destinations:

Resorts World Las Vegas

AREA15

Topgolf

Other resort and entertainment properties

Zoox said it would continue adding new destinations throughout the coming months as we expand our service.
