MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- The Crabtree Memorial Gym in Myrtle Beach is hosting its annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb this week to honor first responders who lost their lives in the 2001 terror attacks.
From Monday, Sept. 8 to Saturday, Sept. 13, you can visit the gym to climb 110 flights of stairs. This represents the number of floors in the World Trade Center.
You do not need to climb all 110 flights, or you can climb them all over many days. If you climb all 110 flights of stairs, you get an American flag pin.
When you are done, sign your name, the date, how many flights you climbed, and to whom you are dedicating your climb.
Participation is free, and registration is not required. However, non-gym members will need to sign a liability waiver.
