A Macomb County man caught up in an underage sex sting operation was cleared of multiple felony charges by an Oakland County jury Tuesday.

At the conclusion of a trial in Oakland County Circuit Court, Jeremy Coder, 31, of Shelby Township, was found not guilty of all the crimes he was charged with: two counts of using a computer to commit a crime — including one punishable by up to life in prison — accosting a minor for immoral purposes, and child sexually abusive material.

The trial, which started Monday before Visiting Judge James Alexander, wrapped up Tuesday. The jury deliberated for approximately three hours before returning with the verdict.
