DETROIT - This is a must-see for any Detroit Lions fan. This is your last chance to see a history of the franchise exhibit featuring artifacts straight from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“Gridiron Heroes” opened one year ago at the Detroit Historical Museum , located at 5401 Woodward Avenue. This is the exhibition’s final weekend.
The Historical Museum will be open on Thursday and Friday, September 11 & 12 with extended hours from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Regular hours are in effect on Saturday (10-5pm) and Sunday (1-5pm.)
The exhibition features items dating back to the 1930s with Lions greats like Dutch Clark through the 1950s with Doak Walker and Bobby Layne all the way to present day.
