APEX, N.C. (WNCN) — A man in Apex is accused of well over a hundred instances of producing and possessing images associated with child pornography between January 2017 and April 2025.

According to court records, Andrew Eric Childs is facing 127 charges related to child pornography.

In May alone, court records revealed that Childs faced 16 charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 14 charges of disseminating material harmful to minors from February 11.

The warrants for these charges were filed by the Durham Police Department. Childs was taken into custody with Wake County through the Apex Police Department.
