WARREN, Ohio (WKBN)- A Warren man was taken into custody after a reported domestic situation with a woman on Monday afternoon.

Police were called to the 400 block of Elm Road NE around 4:40 p.m.

Reports said that the victim called police while she was at the store and told them that she was scared to be home because a man was hitting her in the head with a gun before she called.

She identified the suspect as Greg Latronica, who she said was at her home.

The woman said that after Latronica hit her in the head with a gun, she called her friend and walked to the store.

Reports said that when officers arrived at the address on Elm Road and checked the rooms, they told Latronica to come out, and he did not. Latronica was found hiding under a desk.
