Clementon man sentenced to 30 years for Maple Shade apartment killing
Mount Holly, NJ – A 25-year-old man from Clementon has been sentenced to three decades in state prison for the fatal shooting of a Maple Shade resident outside his apartment in 2022.
Teon Macklin-Goodwine was ordered to serve the full 30-year sentence without parole eligibility after a Burlington County jury convicted him in July on felony murder and multiple weapons charges. Judge Mark P. Tarantino handed down the sentence on August 29 in Superior Court.
The case stemmed from a January 16, 2022 shooting at the Fox Meadow apartment complex. Responding officers found 32-year-old Ezekiel Sanders Jr. wounded on Gardenia Drive. He was rushed to Jefferson Hospital in Cherry Hill, where he was pronounced dead shortly after
