WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who robbed a Wyoming bank while wearing a clown mask is heading to prison for the early November heist.
Garabed Tadian, 63, entered a PNC Bank branch wearing a clown mask. He passed a note stating that he had a gun and would use it if he was not given money, court records show. No weapon was found.
The Nov. 8, 2024 robbery happened at the branch on 28th Street SW at Buchanan Avenue. A palm print left on the robbery note led to his arrest.
During an appearance Wednesday in Kent County Circuit Court, the judge noted Tadian’s lengthy criminal record, which includes prior stays in prison.
“Mr. Tadian comes to court with a significant criminal history," Judge Paul Denenfeld said. “This is his 10th felony at the age of 63 and he has been to prison three previous
