PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The University of West Florida in Pensacola has been awarded a major grant to expand its cybersecurity training program, according to a UWF news release.
A $2 million grant, funded by the Florida legislature through its Cyber Florida: FirstLine initiative, was awarded to UWF's Center for Cybersecurity. The money will be used to expand the center's Florida Cybersecurity Training Program, a statewide initiative that offers free cybersecurity education to eligible Florida government personnel.
