Juno-winning Vancouver singer Karan Aujla is making history again as the very first Punjabi Canadian artist to have performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Article content Article content

Aujla performed a medley of singles, including Boyfriend and Gabhru from his new smash-hit album P-Pop Culture, on Sept 9. The appearance follows a whirlwind of firsts for the artist, including one of the strongest global releases for a Punjabi-language album in charting history.

P-Pop Culture debuted at No. 1 on Spotify in India and Pakistan, and No. 4 in Canada. All 11 tracks on the record entered the Spotify Top 200 and the Apple Music Top 50 charts. The release reached No. 1 on Apple Music in all three markets.
