MISSOULA, Mont. — UND will be in the spotlight of FCS football this weekend.

The No. 16 Fighting Hawks are heading to Missoula, Mont., this weekend for a huge afternoon tilt against No. 5 Montana.

It's the only Top 25 matchup of the week in FCS.

UND is coming off of a 50-20 trouncing of Portland State in its home opener, improving to 1-1 on the season.

Montana is 1-0, notching a 42-17 win over Central Washington last Saturday.

The two programs met in Grand Forks last season. The Hawks rattled off 20 unanswered points in the second half to secure a 27-24 victory.

However, UND has not won a game in Missoula since 1963. The Grizzlies hold a 15-10-1 all-time series lead over the Hawks.

The Hawks have also not won a road game since Nov. 4, 2023.
