HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) — Two men were arrested on Monday following an investigation into gift card fraud at the Walmart in Horseheads, according to a release from the New York State Police (NYSP).

Christopher Causell, 29, of Hempstead NY, and Tavares Vineyard, 23, of New Jersey, were both arrested on Monday, Sept. 8 on the charge of grand larceny in the fourth degree (class E felony), the release explained.

Causell's and Vineyard's arrests stem from an investigation into a report where troopers said two individuals, later identified as Causell and Vineyard, were fraudulently acquiring gift cards at the Walmart Super Center in the Town of Horseheads.
