Several New Hampshire communities are planning events to commemorate the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Nearly 3,000 people died when hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center's tallest towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Events to remember the lives lost are scheduled throughout New Hampshire on Thursday. The following is a partial list and will be updated:
