Wednesday’s trip included visits to the World War II Memorial, the Tomb of the Unknown Solider and the Vietnam War Memorial.
Dozens of veterans and members of their families went to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to take part.
Organizers say the Honor Flights are a great way to give back to the veterans who protected their country. The next Honor Flight is scheduled for Oct. 28.
