GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A man has been arrested by Greenville police who they say stole items worth $200,000 - $250,000 in a construction site break-in.
On Monday morning, police said they were called to Edwards Inc. on 305 Easy Street for a breaking and entering where multiple items were stolen over the weekend.
During the investigation, officers said they believed a dark Jeep SUV was connected to the theft.
By Tuesday, detectives spotted the matching suspect car parked in front of a home on English Court. Officers say they then saw stolen items in the backyard.
Christopher Perry was eventually detained, and detectives found multiple stolen items while searching his home.
Police say they are still trying to identify who owns some of the recovered property.
