MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed Wednesday during an appearance at Utah Valley University, was scheduled to appear in Hanover this month.
Kirk, 31, was taken to a Utah hospital after the shooting, where he was listed in critical condition. President Donald Trump said in a social media post later in the afternoon that Kirk had died.
Kirk, CEO and cofounder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was scheduled to take part in a debate with political commentator Hasan Piker in a sold-out Sept. 25 event at the Hanover Inn Grand Ballroom.
The debate was organized by the Dartmouth Political Union and the Dartmouth Dialogues Project.
