SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena will be renamed the Numerica Veterans Arena this fall.

Numerica has also pledged $1 million to support local veterans, active-duty military and their family members, the credit union said in a press release.

“Funding commitments like this are critical to the wellbeing of veteran and military families in our community,” Spokane County Regional Veterans Services director Cat Nichols said.

Numerica said the new name will build on the support the credit union has given the Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club at the arena over the years.

The naming partnership with Numerica Credit Union will extend for 10 years.
