FOXBOROUGH – For the Patriots , another week means another practice without their top cornerback.

Christian Gonzalez didn’t practice on Wednesday, marking the start of the seventh week that the Patriots’ All-Pro has missed. Gonzalez hasn’t practiced with the team since suffering a hamstring injury on July 28 .

“I don’t think we’ll see him today,” Vrabel said at the start of Wednesday’s press conference. “Continuing to improve, which is positive, and working hard. But I don’t think we’ll see him today on the practice field. Just working hard, keep improving, staying engaged, still preparing as a starter, and asking questions in meetings, and all those things. So, that’s where we’re at today.”

The Patriots were also without Harold Landry , Morgan Moses, and Keion White at practice.
