THIS EVENING, TONIGHT…

Temps this evening drop from the 70s into the 60s. At the same time, cloud cover erodes as an offshore disturbance moves away from Southern New England. As our sky becomes clear, temps by daybreak bottom out 45-50 inland and 50-55 at the shoreline.

THE REST OF THE WEEK...

Tomorrow is a dry and bright day, it will also be noticeably milder. In advance of a cold front, temps approach or could exceed 80 (in spots). The front dissipates as it moves through dry toward sunset, with only scattered clouds and a wind shift to mark its passage. Behind the front, expect a cool end to the week with highs Friday between 70 and 75 under a sunny sky --- great for fairs and football!
