SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The Hope Center for the Arts in Springfield held an event showcasing their new $15 million facility on Wednesday.

The arts hub is the most advanced arts facility in New England. People were able to tour the 45,000 square foot building and learn about its technology. Through seasonal programs, the facility connects Springfield’s youth with the training and mentorship to create, perform, and lead.

In the fall, a lineup of speakers will be coming to offer words of advice and, after the success its summer youth program had, officials are looking forward to the upcoming season. “The summer program itself was beyond our expectations. It was absolutely amazing. We had 150 kids every day and they had the option of all kinds of genre for the arts,” said founder Bob B
