A man who is hard of hearing has been left homeless after a dispute with an adult family member, exposing how vulnerable retirees can be when living with relatives.
Bryan* (whose name has been changed) reached out to The Senior after many agencies he turned to for help either could not assist or effectively communicate with him because he is almost deaf.
The 79-year-old also claims he has been given "the runaround" by various local, state and federal organisations meant to help seniors, as well as receiving conflicting information on whether he could legally retrieve his personal items from the granny flat he paid for.
