FOX CREEK, SC (WJBF)- This week's scholar athlete is on the Fox Creek football team. The player has a grade-point average that's higher than their most recent opponent's rushing yards-per-carry average.

Garrison Williams is a force for the Predators on the football field as well as the baseball diamond. As a student, he's top seven in his senior class with a host of academic awards too numerous for us to name.

He sports that 4.57 GPA, and he's on the baseball team. Not only that, but Williams has also been named most outstanding defensive player for Fox Creek football after becoming the Predators' leader in tackles and quarterback sacks. He's garnered all-region 1st team honors. Not bad for being in just his second year of high school football.
