OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - After a cool start to the month, temperatures have reached the 80s for the first time this September! Outside of being a bit warm and muggy, this evening should be mild with clear skies and calm conditions. Temperatures will likely be back in the 70s by 8pm.

Our warm up continues into Thursday with highs in the upper 80s and sunny skies. The morning will be clear, calm and cool with temperatures in the 60s. Winds will gust up to about 25 mph by the afternoon. Overall a warm but mild day.

Highs in the 90s are likely Friday and Saturday with a strong south breeze. By Sunday, a cold front will move in, bringing storm chances for the second half of the day and slightly cooler temperatures back in the upper 80s.
