LOS ANGELES -- FX's critically acclaimed comedy "English Teacher" is back for Season 2.

Season 2 finds Evan Marquez (Brian Jordan Alvarez) once again caught in the chaos of Morrison-Hensley High, where no issue is too small, or too controversial.

Evan isn't alone in the madness or the mess. Returning are his sharp-witted best friend Gwen (Stephanie Koenig), eccentric guidance counselor Rick (Carmen Christopher), gym teacher Markie (Sean Patton), and the perpetually panicked Principal Moretti (Enrico Colantoni).

Outside the classroom, Evan's relationship with Malcolm (Jordan Firstman) faces new challenges as his school battles start spilling into his personal life.

Season 2 premieres Thursday, September 25 on FX, with all episodes streaming
