AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Amarillo College announced over the weekend that it will be launching its Badger Bound scholarship program next fall.

According to officials with Amarillo College, this scholarship will help fill the gap once THRIVE.

"THRIVE is ending, and the last cohort that will be eligible for THRIVE is the graduating class of 2027 for AISD high school graduates, and they'll be covered up to three years. From their start date, or 60 hours and badger bound," added AC Vice President of Academic Affairs Frank Sobey. "Our new promise program begins fall 26, and we are working toward implementing that fully with all of our ISD partners, and there's going to be a little overlap.
