Spring has sprung, and ACACIA Dining is blossoming.

Owned by MasterChef favourite Reece Hignell , the two-storey Maitland restaurant on the banks of the Hunter River has launched an all-new evening dining experience.

It's called ACACIA by Night, and it complements the revised daytime offering now known as ACACIA by Day.

"Everyone knows it as a day spot; we have no problem filling the place during the day. But we really wanted to highlight that it is a night-time venue as well," Hignell told Food & Wine .

"It's a new way to experience ACACIA, with two distinct offerings: a nice lunch, a nice dinner. Simple but classy."
