Four people, including a police officer, have been attacked by two dogs in Sydney 's west this morning.

Emergency services were called to the corner of Charles Hackett Drive and Great Western Highway at St Marys at 10am after reports three people had been bitten.

A woman in her 70s was left with ear, arm and neck injuries after the attack.

A man in his 50s was treated for face and arm injuries and another man in his 30s was left with arm injuries.

All three were taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable non-life-threatening condition.

Police were told the two dogs belonged to one of the men.

A police officer who tried to secure the dogs was also injured.

The officer was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
