CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Wednesday night, two teams came together to remember one very special member of the community, Tristen Smith. The 15-year-old was shot and killed by her boyfriend nearly two months ago.
Wednesday night was about coming together and remembering this young woman whose life was taken tragically and far too soon. Tristen was a former Campbell Middle School cheerleader.
Campbell and Turkeyfoot were on opposite sides of the football, but on the same side of raising awareness.
“You know if there were enough hours and minutes and seconds in the day to hug all them, I’d probably hug for the next 40 years and I’m okay with that.”
