The lawsuit claims Liggins prevented Sampson-Grimes from reporting potential waste and mismanagement of district money.
This comes as State Auditor Allison Ball is doing a financial audit on the district.
Sampson-Grimes was placed on administrative leave for allegedly “an issue of leadership,” according to a letter she sent to doctor liggins. However, she claims it was retaliation for warning about financial troubles.
