OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) - The City of Ocean Springs unanimously adopted its budget for the 2026 fiscal year.

In a short meeting, the Board of Aldermen voted unanimously to pass the 2026 budget.

Until we can get our hands on it for the next year, it probably won’t be that much different than this year.”

Included in the bill was a 3% raise for both the police and fire departments.

Although the revenue from taxes is increasing, the tax rate will not.
