BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A preliminary 3.6 magnitude quake struck in an area southwest of Bakersfield Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake struck near the community of Millux, southwest of Bakersfield at around 8:53 p.m., according to USGS data. The quake was recorded at a depth of 14.3 km.
Shaking was reported and felt throughout Bakersfield.
