BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk has shocked our nation --- especially young voters.

In Kern County, both sides of the aisle are appalled by the shooting in Utah, and are condemning this heinous political violence.

"Despite our differences politically, this is obviously a sad and disturbing day in American politics to see this live on TV, thousands of people saw it right in front of them," said Chris Romo.
