MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Emotions ran high Wednesday night at Grace Church in Maryland Heights, as the congregation gathered to remember conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed in Utah earlier in the day.
“Ugh, you’ll make me cry,” said Kim Bell, who attended the service.
Bell recalled when Kirk visited the church in 2022 as part of his Saving America Tour.
“We were thrilled to have him here, and when he came, there was quite a large crowd. I think that he made a huge impact, not just on older people like me, but on the youth,” Bell said.
