SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -After unsettled days, the weather is starting to change. The front that had been sitting north of us is about to get a push south, and the low-pressure system just offshore has slipped farther south and is starting to dissipate.

Today, drier air trying to sink south will keep the skies clearer, with rain chances mainly to points south. Yesterdays stalled front is being pushed south by a nudge from a upper-level trough today and, as it begins to move south will bring a smaller chance for showers. Our rain chances today will be focused on 2 to 6 pm window, with a rain chance of 30% to 40% and mainly inland.
