A man attended hospital with a hand injury after a stabbing in Wythenshawe .

Officers attended the scene outside the row of shops on Button Lane, in Northern Moor , on Wednesday evening (September 10).

Greater Manchester Police says a man went to hospital after suffering a minor injury to his hand.

An investigation into the incident is underway, with further details on the circumstances yet to be established.

Witnesses reported seeing a cordon outside the Button Lane shops at around 6pm, with the incident having taken place earlier on.

No arrests have been made so far in connection with the incident, GMP says.

Enquiries into the stabbing remain ongoing this morning (Thursday).
