New accommodation for the homeless has opened in with the aim of restoring self-esteem for some of the city’s most vulnerable people. Residents in each of the 15 self-contained flats in Sincil House can stay for up to three years, and can even bring their dogs.
Managers hope it will not just get people off the streets, but help them towards their own accommodation. The £2.6 million development, which is built on the site of the former Golden Cross pub on the High Street, will help address the growing numbers who need .
