These are just some of the insults – with plenty more, and plenty worse – that have been hurled at Ben Johnson since he left his job as Detroit Lions offensive coordinator to become coach of the Chicago Bears .

After transforming the Lions ’ offense in three seasons and scoring interviews for the top spot with multiple teams, it seemed inevitable that Johnson would leave.
