LORAIN, Ohio — A Lorain City Schools bus was involved in a minor accident Tuesday when a passenger vehicle ran a stop sign and struck the front of the bus as it was crossing the intersection.
No injuries were reported on the bus, which was carrying about 30 students. Lorain Police Department responded to the incident that occurred around 3:20 p.m. near 112 West 18th Street. Following clearance from authorities, students were transported home safely, according to a news release.
The school district’s transportation department immediately notified the district following the accident and followed all established safety and communication procedures.
