Katrina is one of millions of Americans who are living paycheck to paycheck. Sometimes there’s not enough left each month to pay bills and to buy medicine and food, even though she works multiple jobs.

“One job takes care of the mortgage, the other job takes care of the car payment and everything else in the middle, I hustle, you know, odd jobs, just to make it through, make ends meet,” Katrina explained.

That hasn’t deterred her from continuing her training to care for children with special education needs.

“They have taught me unconditional love. No matter what they have a smile. You know, it makes your heart feel good. Especially when you’re down and if you’ve had a hard day. And there’s days I want to just quit but I’m like, ‘No, I’ve come this far, why am I going to quit?’” Katrina
