NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - The University of Oklahoma's Turning Point USA chapter organized a candlelight vigil for its founder, Charlie Kirk, on Wednesday following Kirk's assassination.

The event was held on the OU campus's south oval and included dozens of students who showed up, lit candles, and shared stories about how Kirk had impacted their lives.

“I’ve never felt this before,” said OU student Ethan Sayadeth. “Him, as a man, is someone I could look up to, somebody I wanted to emulate, you know, his energy his passion, just the way he loved his family."
