SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – The Adirondack region of New York is beginning to see the first signs of fall foliage, with Essex County leading the way with more than 20% change at Whiteface Mountain.
As of early September, various counties in the Adirondacks are experiencing different levels of foliage change. In Essex County, Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington shows a significant transformation with vibrant orange and yellow leaves, while other areas like Crown Point and Newcomb report about 10% change with muted colors.
