There will be several reflective events marking the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks in Brooklyn on Thursday, offering residents opportunities to memorialize the tragedy and honor those who continue to be affected.

A community memorial service will commence at 11:00am in Seth Low Park in Bensonhurst. Hosted by Council Member Susan Zhuang and Assembly Member William Colton, the program will include color guards, the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem performed by students from I.S. 96 Seth Low, interfaith prayers, keynote speakers and a moment of silence for those lost and those who helped rebuild the city.
