CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is dead after what officials say appears to be a tractor accident in rural Casey County.

According to the coroner, the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Green River Valley Road, about eight miles from Liberty.

The coroner said 80-year-old Garland Davis was operating a moving tractor when it’s believed he suffered a medical emergency that caused him to fall off. The tractor then ran over Davis and continued moving until it struck the back porch of the house.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
