COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — While history is on Ohio State’s side, boasting an undefeated record against Mid-American Conference teams since 1894, it doesn’t mean the Buckeyes are taking Saturday’s game against the Ohio Bobcats lightly.
After the Buckeyes got a taste of slowing down one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, Texas’ Arch Manning, the Bobcats come to Ohio Stadium with a dual threat of their own, QB Parker Navarro.
Navarro averages close to 8 yards per carry and can extend plays outside of the pocket, as was evident against a close loss to Rutgers and a win over West Virginia last week, and the Buckeyes are well aware of problems Navarro can cause on defense.
