A community has been left reeling after two people were stabbed at a busy bus station. Emergency services attended Wigan Interchange at around 5.20pm on Wednesday evening (September 10).
A 42-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were rushed to hospital after being stabbed at the scene in an 'isolated incident'.
The force says a 16-year-old boy has now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the two stabbings.
He is in police custody for questioning this morning.
The boy is the second teenager to be arrested in connection with the incident, after a girl was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
She has since been interviewed by officers and released on bail, according to GMP.
