A Michigan-based pizza company known for round pizza with flavored crust, Hungry Howie's has launched its first-ever line of square Detroit-style pizza.

Like the style originated by Buddy's in the 1940s and continued on by Cloverleaf, Loui's and others throughout the 20th century, Hungry Howie's Detroit-style pizza has cheese that caramelizes at the edge and stripes of red sauce on top.
